Celebrating VE Day
Here at TMD we would like to highlight the bravery of our great nation on Friday 8th May and celebrate the 75th anniversary of VE day. In these strange times we can draw similarities to the people on the frontlines then and our frontline key workers now, literally putting their health at risk due to Covid-19.
We salute the heroes of WW2 and take the time to appreciate the massive sacrifice that was made. Today, once again we are united, we keep fighting as our nation did over 75 years ago battling this virus with everyone playing their part.
In such times, we have loved good news stories such as Captain Tom raising over £30 million to help NHS staff by walking 100 lengths in his garden. This really lifts the spirit of the nation, not only did Captain Tom fight to protect us then, but his efforts now have changed the lives of those who need it most now.
We have also adopted a ‘can-do’ attitude and have done as much as we can to maintain business as usual. Should you need assistance from the team do not hesitate to get in contact with us, we are fully equipped to work from home and are able to communicate via email, telephone and if required Microsoft teams and Zoom.
Again, we would like to say a massive thank you from TMD and hope everyone stays safe during lockdown. If we work together as we have, we will beat this threat and move on to a better future.
