Getting to know Beverley Jarvis, Private Clients Account Handler

As someone who enjoys teamwork, client liaison and attention to detail, Beverley Jarvis enjoys the perfect role for her skillset. Having worked at TMD since 2007, she is regarded as a key member of the Private Clients team and has made a substantial contribution to TMD’s business over the years.

She describes her day to day responsibilities as overseeing renewals for her growing list of clients, handling queries along with gaining new business.
 
“I work in the office on Tuesday afternoon and all day Wednesday and Thursday,” she explains. “My time is spent checking emails and organising task management. I monitor the renewals list and, where applicable, arrange and renew policies. I also deal with any queries and incoming phone calls.”
 
Attention to detail, accuracy and organisation play an integral role in Beverley’s job responsibilities and so, on Fridays, she works from home, catching up with renewal chasers and arranging renewals up to five days in advance. She also makes calls to clients regarding Property Owners insurance and, when all the work is complete, spends the remainder of her time on Continuous Professional Development.
 
Beverley says the most enjoyable part of her job involves speaking with clients and working with her team, providing help whenever she can. “I like to keep all my clients happy,” she says, “which is my primary motivation, and always work to the best of my ability. I provide help and assistance when required, and enable my team to enjoy a good work balance. I’m always inspired by hard working, fair colleagues.”
 
Describing herself as a happy and helpful individual, Beverley will always go the extra mile to get a good result, ensuring clients are totally satisfied with the service they are receiving from TMD. ‘Busy, rewarding and structured’ are the three words she selects to sum up her job. “It’s a busy job and I really enjoy it. The fact that we’re a close-knit team and work well together makes my job easier and all the more enjoyable.”
 
In summary, she says: “Whether a client is looking for home, car, property or other insurance, we pride ourselves on providing an exceptional level of service. TMD has been around for a long time and the majority of clients have been with us for many years. They know they can rely on us to provide the highest standards of personal service, whatever the requirement. Rather than an automated service, we are always here, in person, to meet their needs.”
