James McDonagh achieves CII Individual Chartered Broker status
We are delighted to announce that TMD Director James McDonagh has been awarded Individual Chartered Broker status by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). On behalf of the staff and management, we would like to say a huge congratulations on his achievement.
Individual chartered status is awarded only to those at the forefront of their profession and is one of the highest accolades available in the insurance world. A symbol of technical competence, it is one of the most recognised and respected professional titles and serves as a mark of trust with consumers, employers and business connections.
To qualify for Chartered status, an individual must be an advanced level practitioner, in possession of the Advanced Diploma in Insurance, and meet strict qualifying criteria, including at least five years’ sector experience. The process is challenging and takes real commitment, calling for the practitioner to develop specialised technical knowledge and study for CII Level 6 qualifications.
Once achieved, Chartered status provides parity with other professions, placing the individual among top professionals within their field, with recognised standing and outstanding technical expertise. It also gives the individual access to key market information through the CII’s library of insurance and planning publications, reports and documents.
