TMD celebrates the Jubilee Weekend
In 2022, Her Majesty The Queen became the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee after 70 years of service. It is an exceptional achievement and one which is being commemorated across the country by local authorities, schools, businesses, community groups and private individuals.
The Platinum Jubilee Weekend takes place from 2nd to 5th June 2022, with a whole range of activities planned across the UK Commonwealth and beyond, including public events, pageants, concerts, carnivals, lunches, street parties and beacon lighting, to celebrate Her Majesty’s historic reign.
Here at TMD, we would like to congratulate Her Majesty The Queen on reaching this historic achievement. She is a much loved and respected figure across the globe and acts as a focus for national identity, unity and pride. This is a truly momentous occasion and one brings people together across the country, after a couple of tough years.
We are all looking forward to joining in the celebrations and would like to draw your attention to the fact that TMD will be closed for business on Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd June, and will reopen on Monday 6th June.
